Chris received his Associates Degree in HVAC from Ferris State University. He started his career at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc. in 1988. He has specialized training and experience in HVAC Analytical Testing, Testing and Balancing, HVAC Troubleshooting, Systems Commissioning, and Fume Hood Testing, hydronic design and application from Bell & Gossett. He is a member of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). Most of Chris’ work is done at hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. He also has experience on “under floor” mechanical systems and cleanrooms.
Bob VanDenBrink is a cleanroom project manager at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc.
Bob received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Design and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology-Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Bob started his career at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc. in 1996. He is a NEBB certified professional in Air and Hydronic Environmental Systems, Building Systems Commissioning HVAC & Plumbing, and Cleanroom Performance Testing. He is also a NSF/ANSI Standard 49 Class II Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier. Bob is also a member of CETA (Controlled Environment Testing Association).
Terry Nyland is a project manager at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc.
Terry received his Bachelor of Science degree in HVAC&R Engineering Technology from Ferris State University. Terry started his career at Mechanical Testing Service, Inc. in 1992. Terry is a NEBB certified professional in Air and Hydronic Environmental Systems, Cleanroom Performance Testing, and Building Systems Commissioning HVAC & Plumbing. He also received his ACCA Certificate in Refrigerant Transition and Recovery (Universal). Terry is also a member of IEST (Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology) and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). He has specialized training and experience in HVAC Analytical Testing & Troubleshooting, Testing and Balancing, Systems Commissioning, and Cleanroom Testing.
Ken Brock is a project engineer at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc.
Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin College, and his B.S.M.E. and M.S.M.E. from the University of Michigan. He started his career at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc. in 1988. He has worked in the HVAC industry since 1983 and has worked on Air and Hydronic Balancing, Commissioning, Energy Conservation, and System Troubleshooting/ Analysis/Solutions projects. Ken has worked on hospital and Pharmaceutical and many other types of projects. Ken is a NEBB certified professional in: Testing and Balancing of Air and Hydronic Systems, Building Systems Commissioning (Standard Scope and Design Review Scope), Sound, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Mike Magoon is a field technician at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc.
Mike received his Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Texas State Technical College. He started his career at Mechanical Testing Services, Inc. in 1998. Mike has specialized training from ITT Industries in Bell & Gossett Fluid Handling School of Living Comfort and Bell & Gossett Design and Application Hydronics. He has also completed the NEBB Home Study Course in Air Balance.
